The Raven finger puppet goes with the Long House Play Set and Canoe Collections.

The Raven was the first symbol and crest of the Northwest Coastal Indians. This mystical bird is a symbol of prestige and Gak the Raven is certainly an important character in Bill Helin’s Culture Crew. This finger puppet is a very effective way to develop children’s language skills and to support the communication and development of children with disabilities. Ideal for native communities and their respective organizations.

Part of the Bill Helin Collection

Bill Helin (Welaaxam Yout) is Tlingit, Tsimshian and Norwegian. Born in the Northwest Coastal community of Prince Rupert, BC, Bill spent countless hours listening to his grandmother as she taught him the many legends and songs of the Tlingit and Tsimshian people. Bill has captured the essence of these legends in a series of books and his “Culture Crew” and friends have been brought to life as quality plush toys.
