Kwikwasut’inux artist, Brian Scow was born in Alert Bay, British Columbia. Brian received instruction in carving from Vincent Shaughnessy and his brothers Rupert and Barry Scow and Beau Dick. He has been carving since 1996.
He also worked with Dave Jackson on a totem pole that went to Germany.
His work has been exhibited at Hill’s Native Crafts, Brenda Wiebe in Uclulet and the Native Craft Shop in Pender Harbour. Brian also sells his work in various galleries and through private commissions. Brian mainly carves at home.
